Civil Rights

I wish I lived between the years 1954-1968, so I could experience racism. I know it sounds all crazy, but I just want to feel and talk to all these activists involved in the civil rights struggle. How did they manage to go through everyday knowing that they possibly die fighting for social justice?!?! I am amazed by anyone with this kind of passion. Ugh I get goosebumps thinking about it.
