Ha I am very glad that President Obama is pushing for more Green JOBS! I know I am not a very eco friendly all that much but I try. Anyways, what I find interesting is that just one year ago I, along with other members from OCC and Coastline, went to Sacramento to lobby for MORE Green JOBS and you know what they did/said... NOTHING because they didn't care! I do not recall any of our California's senators/representatives who agreed. They kept insisting "It is too much money and a waste of time.. blah blah blah blah! Oh California you better start creating Green JOBS! And when you will I want a letter! haha expecting a letter is unrealistic BUT i would just like to see progress.
So for my nonviolence class, we are going to be playing video games for the next month in class! It is not the average video game, it's an educational one like LeapFrog. ahaha It's called "A Force More Powerful" and it is a game where we have to resolve a conflict nonviolently! When we start the game, I'll write about it more!
