I get frustrated when my parents keep pressuring me about finding a job to make more money. I understand the importance of money blah blah blah, but just because I don't want to be a nurse they think I'm going to be poor. I respect those who truly want to be nurses (because these nurses are going to be the ones taking care of my family!), but please also do nursing because you care for another person's well being. Money should not be the ONLY reason why you did nursing and because your parents made you do nursing is not an excuse (your parents didn't force you!), money should come after the fact the people trust YOU to take care of their loved ones.
I know I may come off as a nurse hater, but I am not. I really understand that sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do... so just ignore me or whatever!
My dad and I always get into these arguments and it bugs. He should be happy knowing that one of his daughters is in this world to better her self and the community.
After a conversation I had with Nychel, I realized that I may possibly want to work in government to improve the education system. I feel bad that she had to go through that conversation, that probably didn't make too much sense... but to me it did! I need to learn how to better explain my ideas/thoughts! (Sorry Nychel if you were bored!) But another thing I realized after that conversation is that I miss being involved in student government. I miss talking to other people who truly want to help the school and the community... I miss sharing ideas and putting them into action! Carla! We need to hang out soon, I think she might be the only friend of mine I can really talk about these things to without sounding too "PRO this and that" or whatever... she gets it!
We are so busy thinking about making more money that sometimes we forget to care for one another! (Drew Barrymore said something along those lines and that what makes me love her more!) Just know to whoever reads this that I CARE FOR YOU AND ONLY WANTS WHATS BEST!
oh! I finished about 2 care boxes! I wrapped 'em so ugly, I need to practice more.
Alright well I'm gonna start reading New Moon.
